An inseparable pair bound by cosmic fate and mutual necessity. Shousei was originally a Dyson sphere, a vast technological marvel created by an advanced civilization to harness the power of their star. Agana, a mighty titan sentenced to bear the weight of the heavens after her defeat in the war against the Olympians. When Shousei's star reached the end of its life cycle, the catastrophic damage left her volatile and unstable. Drifting through space, she eventually arrived in Gensokyo, where her unstable energy threatened the realm's delicate balance. Agana was tasked with holding Shousei's fractured form together, preventing her collapse while simultaneously serving her eternal sentence. Though their union was born of necessity, the two have found solace in each other's company, creating an unbreakable bond where prolonged separation would mean Shousei's death and Agana's consequent punishment, a fate neither wishes to face. The festival intrigued them both, as it represented a rare opportunity to experience joy and celebration in their otherwise burdensome existence. They decided to participate, hoping to find a moment of respite from their eternal duties and perhaps even forge new connections with the inhabitants of Gensokyo.
