A manifestation, a representation in the form of a youkai of a disease, Hana no Mushi. She is considered a “living disease” that mysteriously passes through the residents of Gensokyo. Because of the little information about these diseases that she passes, she was born as a mysterious Youkai in Gensokyo. She needs blood to survive and use her ability, so she decided to go to hell because of a rumor that there was a large ocean of blood. Then she finally arrived and fell in love with the size of the place, and finally decided to live there from then on. With practically no need to have any problem hunting for blood anymore, she uses the Blood Pools of Former Hell as a source of blood recharge. Her ability consists of creating and manipulating parasites, but for them to survive and become stronger, they need to be in blood. With this, Honoka uses a type of syringe in the shape of a pistol to hit her targets with her tube parasites. Because of her inconvenience, in the Blood Pools of Former Hell, she meets Chiyari Tenkajin and the two become "friends", they are practically neighbors and apparently Honoka likes Chiyari and always tries to get her attention whenever she sees her, but Chiyari probably doesn't care enough about Honoka and only answers them out of politeness.
