Back in the twelfth century, a battle oppossing the Heike clan and the Genji clan took place in a narrow strait separating Honshū and Kyūshū. While the Heike first had the upper hand, they ultimately realized defeate was unavoidable. The surving Heike flung themselves into the sea to drown rather than be captured, their heart full of enmity for their enemy.	早在十二世纪，平家与源氏的军队在本州和九州之间的一道狭窄的海峡展开了一场大战。 平家军最初占得上风，但他们最终还是意识到了战败已经注定。 仍未战死的平家武士不愿被俘，怀着对敌人的恨意自投于海。
Their grudge was so powerful, that it is said that all the crabs in the area since then bear rancour for the Genji Clan, explaining why their shell are imprinted with the scowling face of a samurai.	据说，他们的怨恨太过深重，因而此地所有的螃蟹从此都带上了对于源氏一族的恨意， 这也就是为何它们的甲壳上都烙上了武士愤怒的脸庞。
Serene is one of those crabs. But for unexplainable reason, she did not bear any grudge on anything or anyone. A grudge-less grudge Youkai is basically a Youkai with no reason to exists, so she had trouble finding her place in Youkai society and was often left alone.	塞勒涅就是这些螃蟹的一员。 但不知为何，她并未怀着对于任何人或事的怨恨。 一个无怨无恨的怨之妖怪，也就是一个没有存在理由的妖怪，因此，她在妖怪的社会中难以找到容身之处，常常被冷落在一旁。
Eventually, when no-one seemed to care about her anymore, not even herself, she ended up in Gensokyo.	最终，直到似乎已经无人——包括她自己——在意她之时，她就进入了幻想乡。
The Misty Lake was obviously the goto place for her to stay. In a society of Heikegani, being a hairdresser is extremely common and unremarkable, but in a lake with diversed type of Youkai, it suddenly became her biggest strenght. Youkai in Gensokyo care a lot about looking special and cool, so her skills were extremely appreciated. She became somewhat popular amongst weaker Youkai.	很显然，雾之湖会成为她的好去处。 在平家蟹的社会里，理发师是非常常见而平凡的职业，但在各路妖怪栖息的雾之湖，这忽然成了她的长处。 幻想乡里的妖怪们很在意外表的特别，她的技艺也就因此大受欢迎。 在弱小的妖怪之间，她也聚集起了一些人气。
For the first time in her life, she felt like her existence had a purpose.	有生以来的第一次，她感到她的存在有了意义。
